Harry Potter was sprinting down the second floor corridor, frantically trying to get to Charms on time. He wasn't looking forward to class,and seeing the Slytherins and Malfoy. Harry walked in as Professor Flitwick was assigning year-long partners. He told Harry that his partner was Malfoy. Today was a review day and they were to work independently on practicing previous years. Harry was practicing Reparo while Malfoy was practicing Accio. Malfoy was having a tough time getting the spell to work. Harry took pity on Malfoy and corrected his wand movements. Malfoy tried it Harry's way and finally got his pillow to fly at him. Malfoy grudgingly thanked him.
Harry smiled and said,"If you need help with Charms stuff you can always ask and I'll help you."Malfoy nodded and started on the Diffindo spell.
Harry decided to practice Legilimins and he accidentally ended up in Malfoy's mind. While Harry was in Draco's head he saw Draco tell Dumbledore that he wanted to become a spy for the light. He also saw Draco tell his parents he was gay. Harry withdrew from Draco's mind and sat there stunned. Wait! When did Harry start thinking of him as Draco?
While Harry was lost in thought,Draco was thinking about Harry's talent for Charms. An idea struck Harry,one that would benefit himself and Draco. It also gave him the chance to think and figure out why he found Draco so damn appealing.
Harry said,slightly nervous,"Malfoy..."
Draco looked at him."Yes,Potter?"
Harry fidgeted nervously."I was wondering if you could tutor me in potions?"
Malfoy smiled and asked,"Why me,Potter?"
Harry said,"You're easily the best at potions other than Snape himself,and to be honest Snape scares me a little."
Draco's smile brightened and asked,"What would be in it for me?"
Harry said,"I'd help you with Charms,other than DAtDA it's my best subject."
Malfoy thought about it,no doubt weighing the pros and cons in his mind. He said,"I'll think it over tonight and give you an answer tomorrow."Harry nodded,cheered by the possibility of raising his potions grade.
After class,Ron and Hermione ran to catch up with him. Ron looked worried and annoyed at the same time. He looked at Harry closely and asked him what he and Draco had talked about.
Harry said,"I was helping him with his Charms work."
Ron looked like someone told him the Chudley Cannons had disappeared of the face of the Earth. He asked,"He didn't even try to curse you?"
Harry shook his head and continued walking toward Gryffindor tower,Ron and Hermione trailing him. He got to the Fat Lady's portrait and said,"Solaria."The portrait swung open to reveal the Gryffindor common room. Harry changed into his pajamas and fell asleep in a chair in the common room.
When Harry awoke he found himself in his chair by the fire in the common room and he didn't remember going to sleep. He looked out the window,it was still dark so Harry whispered a tempus charm. It was 12 a.m. All of a sudden he was racked with the most pain he had ever felt. He was on his knees clutching his head, praying he wasn't gonna die or at the very least faint. All at once the pain stopped. He dashed to the closest mirror and saw he was stunningly beautiful and his canines had elongated to become sharp fangs.
He exclaimed."BLOODY HELL! What am I?"Harry put on a shirt and bolted to the dungeons to find Snape. Harry was positive he'd know what was going on.
He pounded on the door to Snape's rooms. Severus opened the door to see a stunning Harry Potter, looking frantic with wings and due to not being quite awake asked,"Are you aware you have wings and fangs,Mr. Potter?"
Harry, slightly calmer,said,"I was aware I had fangs but i wasn't aware I had wings,Sir."
Snape,more awake now,looked at him closely."I think,Mr. Potter,you have come into your inheritance."
